Default Tekin Mini Rage brushless- omg!

Just been finishing up the review of the Mini Frog and for the second half after running it standard I "hopped it up" a bit.. mainly with the Tekin Mini Rage brushless. I went out for some test runs today - before we go for action photos... and.. blimey after 5 mins of testing I have NO TYRES !!! haha

This Tekin brushless is INSANELY fast, I tested it with the 5.4kv and 8kv motors.. the 5.4 was insane but the 8kv (57000rpm) is silly - hence having no tyres left ! :jimmeh its a good job this frog has a slipper clutch otherwise there would be nothing left of it.

Oh I'll point out that its a really abrasive concrete carpark I went for some speed tests, hence the tyre wear.. I could have gone for a good 10 mins or more on the cells I bet, wonder what would have been left after that ! hehe..

I couldn't stop myself though, it was too much fun.

If you were INSIDE the mini frog with that brushless in, you would become mush and die in seconds..!

Default and . . .

A hornet body version is also coming out very soon. Its already on the Tamiyausa.com site. I wonder if they are planning some 4wd mini tams as well. I would go absolutely nuts over a mini tamiya 4wd. I can't remember which classics are 4wd. Anyone know off the top of their head?

Its 2WD, but I would go absolutely nuts for a mini rough rider or sand scorcher.

I had a Boomerang, first car. One of the all time tamiya 4wd classics!

others were, thundershot, avante, mantaray and the awesome Egress, way ahead of it's time with all the carbon and titanium.
