SORC - Change of Date
Sorry but there has to be a change to one of the CSOR dates, the last round.
This round was going to be on Sept. 19th, run by Ayr, at the CSOR track. It needs to be brought forward and so it will now be on June 27th 2010. All remaining dates are to continue as planned. 27th June will now become Round 3; all subsequent rounds will increment (3,4 & 5 become 4,5 & 6) This makes the last round of the championship the Stonehaven round on August 29th 2010. Apologies if this mucks up anyone's plans, but it couldn't be helped. Regards Dom |

We have consulted with all the people who have raised objections to this change, and the proposed implications.
Subject to the BRCA 2010 rules (rule 19.3 in particular), the number of Counting Rounds will be reduced from 4 to 3. Also, it needed to be clarified that the old date for this round (Sept.19th) clashed with the End of Season F345 Finals at Silverstone, so the event has been moved to June 27th so it does not clash with any BRCA National event (Rule 6.5) I hope this clarifies both the reason for the change and the reason for reducing the number of counting rounds. The Ayr club is running this event and planning a track that utilises 2/3 of the full CSOR track. It promises to be quick and challenging to the 10th electrics. There are three or four longish straights, but all bar one of them have one, two, three or even FOUR jumps on each of them! Promises to be a great event, and CSOR will also hopefully be a regular venue for the East Kilbride club who are looking for a new venue themselves. Check the East Kilbride website soon for more details. |
