Default Mad Rat bearings and shell ?

I fancy a mad rat, don't want the expense of the xpro if I've already got the bits I need in my pitbox, hence the question.

Which parts of the mad rat are Not ballraced that need to be ?
I have a spare B4 bearing set, are they the same size.
Lastly will a B4 shell fit the rat ?
Cheers
andy

You need bearings for the front axles, the rear axles and the gearbox. Paradoxically the steering is ballraced already.

B4 Bearings won't fit.

The B4 shell can be made to fit but the Kyosho RB-5 shells are a better fit.

I've got a Madrat and the only thing you really need for it are other shocks and the better motor plate as the original one is made of cheese and bends badly. I fitted Associated B4 front steering arms and axles to be able to fit B4 front wheel and the kit axles fit B4 rims if you remove the hex adapter.

The car is actually really good with a bit of work!

I currently have bodyshells in stock for the Rat, they are copied from the original, quite a few members have purchased one from me already, they retail at 12.99 plus 2.00 postage, comes with window mask, less than half the price of buying a original body.
