shocks for macnum + mad rat

Can someone tell me if the shocks for the mad rat and macnum are the same length. Ive got some spare b4 shocks and will put them on my new truck (when i buy it), but if the shocks need to be longer for the truck then ill just buy the xt pro truck to start with.
Ive already got a mad rat thats ball raced so would strip that for the bearings and spares. Can i just get away with buying the cheaper macnum and have a decent truck in doing this?

the shocks are longer you would need the T4 shocks however the XT pro just works out the same price when you factor the bearings and the shocks in
