Default Possible custom alloy for Madrat based chassis :)

I've been chatting with Chris at RadshapeRC and we might be getting some Ansmann hop-ups in the future...

Keep your eyes on them, hopefully they will go ahead with some cool alloy parts...

He said... "We have had thoughts on making hop-ups for the Ansmann range and seeing the new Short Course truck out now based on the Mad rat chassis we can see some mileage in it"

Sounds awesome to me!!

This is the single best thing ive bought for my TCO2. I,m sure alloy bits would sell well if someone made some

I made the front plate for Budgio, it took over 5 hours milling on an old pre war mill. If some one was to measure it up and draw it in autocad then took it to a cnc mill proberly take 30mins to 1 hour to mill each one. I took the plastic part to a local machine shop that the company i work for use and he quoted me £85 each for a batch of 10( not worth doing). I'm certain that if a job lot of 40-50 was made the price would drop considerably. If however a large amount ie 100+ then the price could be about £30 each.

ps, please do not ask me to make anymore, I did this a one off after making one for my son. Due to the time it takes and the fact I am meant to be doing other work I cant make any more for a while.
sorry if you have pm'd me in the past and I haven't replied.
