2mm bolt thread sizes

Anyone know what tap i need for a 2mm allen headed Ansmann bolt, im thinking a M2 tap but not 100% sure

It's metric so m2 sounds right to me.

If it's for the normal buttonheads used throughout the car you'll need an M3 tap. M2 is too small.

yup if it takes a 2.5 or 2mm allen driver the chances are its m3, measure the bolt diameter where the thread is is its 3mm get an m3 tap/die set
