Default Gt24b upgrades

Hi, been a while since i was last here, new additions to the family and a different career path have eaten up most of my spare time.

Im looking to purchase a gt24b and after spending a few days scouring the internet i am not having much luck in finding upgrades.

I am more used to the lrp shark/ftx blaze and was wondering if anyone could kindly point me in the direction of upgrades (if available) such as alloy knuckles/suspension arms, carbon fibre shock towers, steel cvd's etc.

I also used to use 1/10th wheels on my blaze, are there any that fit the gt24b and if so a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

Here is a link to the full range of spares and options parts for the GT24B. Option parts include LIPO batteries, different kinds motors, metal pinions, different size spurs, metal dogbones, carbon towers, shock tuning springs, aluminium shocks, clear body, wheels, tyres and more...

http://www.dms-racing.com/index.php?...&view=category

Regards 10th wheels, these won't fit this car, they are far too big. If two were placed over the axles they would be touching each other to give you an idea of the size.

Hope that helps

These also have spares/upgrades:

From what I've seen, only the alloy shocks might be worthwhile, carbon towers just add some bling, though if you want crazy speed you could go for the 12000kv motor alongside running 2s (not cheap though)

I'm not sure you're gonna get pre-built shocks.

You'll have to either build them yourself or get someone to build them for you.

I think for 1/24 scale you need 1/24 scale fingers & 24 x the patience

Have a chat to Paul Knight over at Trackside spares.

He keeps all the spares and upgrades for the 1/24th, 1/16th and 1/10th Carisma cars. I am sure he would also entertain building up the shocks for you. They are tiny tiny, but he is always happy to go the extra mile for good customers.

The GT24B really is a toy that could be raced, rather than a full on race vehicle like a Shark, Carisma GTB, or EMB-1.

The option parts are there but it really is a fun vehicle for indoor use.

As suggested i got in contact with trackside spares, extremely helpful chap who built the shocks for me. Also bought the steel dogbones, some carbon fibre bits and some spares. Just waiting for the 2s cells to come back into stock and then come payday ill be getting the 12000kv motor.

Was recomended i glue up the slipper for the new motor combined with the 2s lipos..anyone else run this combination that could throw some advice my way?

No need to glue the slipper on 2s but you do with the 12kv motor on 2s. Had to build those shocks under a magnifying glass. Recently put an Fpv camera on top of my 24b. Now thats fun, a racing tour of downstairs tour of the house while sat on the sette! Lol

Hi
Could someone who has a GT24b answer a couple of questions for me

what is the inside, outside tyre diameter, and width?

Also what is the total length of the dog bones and wheel axles, are they metal?

Thanks simon
