Default Club in West Midlands?

I'm moving back to the UK and looking for a club near Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester areas. Willing to travel a bit but only really able to do weekend meetings. Any help would be appreciated.

There are a few clubs in the area, coventry run all year round, kidderminster but they dont do club meetings, hinkley run on saturdays through the summer.

Also there is the midwest regional series, coventry, kidderminster, ledbury, oswestry, hin kley.

Plus a mam series at coventry and kiddereminster that runs throughout the winter,

Hope that helps

Please take a look at the West Mids website which will show you all the clubs.
http://www.brca-midwest.co.uk/clubs.html

Also depends what you plan to race.

If you will be in the Leicester area, be sure to check out the Mid East clubs too - www.me-or.com.

We have some good Astro and Grass racing throughout the Summer season. Great indoor racing at Broxtowe and West Bridgeford (both of which are 30 mins from Leicester) thru the winter too

There is also Silverstone club, Moto arena (both in the Silverstone area) and Ardent raceway (near East Mids airport) to consider.

I've wondered why Kidderminster don't run club meetings. I live round the corner and would be happy to help organise something. Even if it were only once a month to start with.

Thanks boys, good info. I'm looking for a well run/friendly club where my low skill level can fit in.

I'm looking at racing 4wd buggies, maybe 2wd if pushed. Also TC. Moving back to somewhere in the Birmingham/Coventry/Leicester triangle but I'm happy to put a bit of mileage in to get to a good club.

You're quite well covered around Coventry.

For TC racing you have Bedworth RCCC (just off M6 J3):

For off-road you have Coventry MCC:

If your planning on keeping the FS2 I can help you out with setups etc.

Kidderminster don't run as a club mainly due to lack of people to organise it.
The venue is managed by Tony and Paul neither of which have family who race any more. Also there is so much racing around the region that many of the racers are busy every weekend anyway so very little time for club meetings.

I've chatted with Tony about the prospect of running Kidderminster as a 'club' holding regular meetings and it would require a large commitment from somebody, I simply don't have the time and am not really local enough.

Don't forget Ledbury, not too far from the land of Brum and they will be racing all winter too

Thanks again for all these, I'll be coming over a few months before the family so I'll have a bit of time to visit a few of the clubs and have a look.
