Default sanding thrust washer

is it ok to sand the thrust washer with the lee martin sanding method?
i have some that are used and have a circular groove in them, i tried sanding one and it looks fine, but im unsure if its ok to sand them..

what do you all do?

yeah sand down till the grove is gone and reuse. you will get away with it a couple of times but watch the thickness doesnt get to thin
