Default Speed Passion Program Card

Hello all,

I have a speed passion GT2.0. The software has been updated to the V3 2011 version, by using a USB Setup card.

However, the basic setup tool only works on the speedo if the speedo software is v1? not on v2 or v3? Is this normal?

I can work around this by borrowing a USB setup card in the short term, but I'd like to be able to make changes at race meetings too?

Is there are newer version of the basic setup tool that can change the settings of a speedo running v3 version software?

Thanks,

Chris

No, you need the LCD programming card for the more recent softwares.

Its normal chris. The card doesnt have any of the turbo functions on it so is useless with later firmware upgrades. You need the usb box instead

You also need to update the firmware in the program box now, like you do with the orion one, otherwise it comes up as upgrade software

Yeah, I had to update the program box on the usb one I borrowed. It was really straightforward though.

So, what is this turbo function all about? When would I use it? and how? what settings should I play around with?

Also, does the hobbywing usb setup card work with the latest speedpassion speed controller software?

Thanks.

Glad you got it sorted mate!
Im run my rs pro standard for ludders
Turbo basicly is a boost set at a certain rpm or time on full throttle if that makes sence. like a real car it gives you more acceleration, think bigG runs abit on his rango mite try it next time out.
