I think we've we've been through this with a similar 2WD thread recently.

Are any B44 spares common with the B5M? If so i'd say get one of those purely for practical reasons.

I've never driven one but I have a Kyosho ZX5 and recently changed my 2WD to an RB6, and the fact that the wheels/tyres and some spares can be changed from one to the other is already making things easier and cheaper.

I'd say anything metric so you don't have to carry around two sets of tools. I wouldn't say a b44 as its imperial and NO parts are interchangeable with your b5m so there is no point in looking at it from that angle. You could pick a cheap dex410 up second hand as they seem to be alright.

to answer your question most of the top 4 wheel drives are excellent and sorted cars \
your choice will just come down to personal preference and support in your area
each car has it positives and negatives id just see what cars are supported by the local hobby shops see which one fits your budget
