Default Power supply when racing

I wondered if there was an alternative to car/leisure battery, petrol generator or mains power for supplying power while racing?

If you are outdoors....use a leisure battery or generator....if indoors..use a leisure battery or mains supply......what else would you need..?

Well, I heard about a device that you could charge up and then use to charge your mobile phone or tablet if needed.
Yes, I know that says you want a leisure battery but these are heavy. I just wondered if there was an alternative that meant you didn't have to lug a leisure battery about or hope you could get access to mains power.

You could use one of these would be enough to charge up a couple of packs

you'd need a bloody huge one to charge an rc pack more than once. And I'd take forever as they don't shift much current. Mine is moderately high spec and will just trigger the fast charge on my phone if it's freshly charged and still warm. Think that's 2.1A.

How about a UPS battery?
I got mine from Maplin.

Fully charge your packs night before, then just top up trackside.
1.2Ah one easily does me. I've got 3 lipos in 2wd. Even if I take 2000 mah out that's 6000 so half the UPS battery. Much smaller than a leisure battery and lighter too.
