Default KC to Laydown

All I know there is a number of parts that are common to both the laydown and the KC,

but my question is has anybody converted the back end of a KC into a laydown,

Now I'm running my KC in L1 back end spec, so I think I just need a good few gearbox parts, anybody got a list of stuff needed to convert given there is a good number of small parts already on the KC eg bearings slipper assy etc.

gearbox and shock tower holder(forward position) u7617 u7618 u7619,
idle gear u7623 + shaft u7622
Motor plate u7645
Lay shaft u4990 + correct spacers
FR strap u7644 + Inserts
Ball diff u7698 or gear diff u7700

Nearly £100 worth there already and there's probably some other bits I have not thought of as well.

You could understand the cost if the gearbox housing and a diff were £100 and all the small bits came in at £20 but its kind of the other way round, cheap housing and expensive parts in it

If you sold your kc and bought a laydown you’d have a complete new car, well worth it imo. Unless you can sell the KC parts you now don’t need
