Default Ledbury MCC winter series

Ledbury MCC Club Championship - 13 Oct 2009
Ledbury model car club are announcing a 6 meeting club championship that will start on the 1st of November.
The format will be
Qualifying round position's and finals pints to count.
5 runs of points are to count toward the championship.

All classes of rc cars are invited and will be allowed to take part as long as their is sufficient numbers, if not then the cars will divided into buggy and truck classes.

Points mean prizes, the top 4 point scorers across the board will be in for prizes.
If at the end of the championship the points are tied for 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th there will be a race off to decide whe ranking.
This is different to other competitions where it is then scored on race finisheds.
This is a little different and should make for good tight racing.

PRIZES.
Ledbury MCC will be offereing prizes for the top 4 drivers over the competition.
These prizes will run from an engine, Tyres, and fuel.
The level of prize value will depend on the driver turnout.
We are offering price break,
If you intend to race of 6 rounds and pay up front the cost will be £50.00
If you intend to book round by round, Entries will need to be in 1 week before the next race meeting along with payment. price will be £10 per car
If you book in less than a week before the meeting, entry will be £12.00
If you turn up on the day to race, entry will be £15.00 so book in early.
The entry numbers will be capped to 35 car's, if you are not booked in and we hit the number's we need to allow for good prizes, you will not be racing.

This is a club funding raising exercise and as such we wish to have at least 25 driver per race meeting.

There has been a lot of interest from club members already and they are booking up to do all 6 rounds therefore the spaces free are reducing.

The engine up for grabbed depending on turnout threw the series will be either a PICCO P3B or a RB K9.

As they say, you've got to be in it to win.

The dates are as follow.
1st November
6th December
24th January 2010
21st February 2010
28th March 2010
18 April 2010

Can i remind all drivers this week is your last chance to enter for the 1st round of the Ledbury Winter series.

The booking in deadline will be sunday 25th, please send payment

Meeting has been cancelled due to bad weather conditions.

We will be reorganising the meeting again on another date so do not worry.
Hope to see you all soon and thanks to those who came down to check it out.
