The Midland Dirt Masters 2011 @ Coventry Model Car Club
July 9th & 10th 2 Day



Entry Fee: £15.00

GB Modelsport will be promoting the Midlands Dirt Masters this year in partnership with Coventry Model Car Club.
Two days of action (9-10th July) on the superb Coventry dirt track for 1:8th nitro buggies, plus limited entry support classes for 1:8 electric buggies, truggies and short course trucks.

Saturday will feature 5 rounds of qualifying and the day will be rounded off with a very special feature race with cash prizes, the likes of which you may never have seen before!
There’s also free camping on Saturday night plus a BBQ.

Podium RC will be trackside with the shop throughout the event, to cater for all your spares, fuels and accessories.

Sunday will see extended finals for all nitro classes with the top drivers bumping up.
The electric classes will also run extended 2-leg finals.

GB Modelsport will be supporting a raffle with some super prizes up for grabs, and there will be trophies for the top places in all classes PLUS awards for TQ (nitro buggy) and THE JQTQ for the highest placed qualifier driving a JQ buggy.

All profits from the event will be donated to the Warwickshire Air Ambulance.

Extra Event Information:

* Media and Raffle prize's are being covered by : GB Modelsport
* CMCC to host the Midland Dirt Masters providing trophies
* Rally X to be the Main Class along with the Truggy's ( looking at x2 heats of Truggy's )
* 1/8th Electric and Short Course being a supporting class.

Saturday:
5 rounds of FTD qualifying ( Max 10 heats ) 9 hours racing approx

Sunday:
Extended Bump up finals for the Nitro

~ 20min finals up to the C Final
~ 30min B Final
~ 45min A Main Final
~ Double header finals for the elctrics.

I;m all booked in and ready to go cant wait yet again for the event to take place .The whole weekend is fantastic with great racing,atmosphere and the evening socializing is something else and what more could we all ask for;

A big thanks to CMCC for hosting this event for us all and well done to the complete team you did yourselves very proud, well ran meeting,well organized,referee top job all over the weekend and a great weekend of racing a must for next year;

A big thankyou to Alex who does not always get a thanks for the well ran timekeeping over the course of the 2 days of the Dirt Masters;

A big thanks to GB Modelsport for the fantastic raffle prizes and all of what goes on behind the scenes to arrange and organize a meeting like this;

Also thankyou to Dez Chand who took some pictures over the course of the weekend no doubt they will be about soon;

A big thanks to all the drivers who attended and gave your support to this meeting for such a wonderful course also thanks to you all who bought raffle tickes to the charity as well


Just cannot wait to find out how much was actually raised for the air ambulance over the course of the weekend;
