Default Tardis 22 - Now available to order

I am pleased to say that the AC Tardis conversion is now ready for the Team Losi Racing 22

http://www.atomic-carbon.co.uk

The kit will include:

CF chassis with moulded kick up.
CF chassis side pods.
CF lipo strap.
Brass posts.
Shims.

The price is £145 + P&P.

**Please note this chassis only allows you to build the car in mid motor configuration.**

Just a note on the Lipo dimensions:

Lipo dimensions for the Tardis 22 chassis are 69mm long by 46.5mm wide per lipo, brca regs call for a maximum size of 69.5mm long by 47mm wide, so please be aware that if you have lipos which are right on the limit of the reg's it might be a tight fit.

Reedy 60c saddles fit but are a tight fit as they are 46.66mm wide, but using
2mm of brass under the lipos they are a lot easier to remove and also the car
handles even better with the brass weight.

Dimensions of BRCA lipos can be viewd by download the following list.

http://www.brca.org/sites/default/fi...0v1%20pdf1.pdf

Thanks,

G

Thumbs up tardis 22

Space ahoooy! Looks very nice and classic AC sidepods a much welcome addition as they are beautifully fitted on the old cr2 chassis. Well done

There are a couple of AC Tardis 22's around sporting the New Version 2 Prototype Bodyshell!

.......& heres one of them!

I initially gave the FTW Vane Bodyshell a go, as it was the only Aftermarket Shell Available that was a direct Fit onto the Tardis Conversion, without any Modifications.
As much as I felt that the VANE seemed to perform pretty well, Testing it Back to Back against the New Prototype TARDIS 22 Bodyshell, there was no Competitition!
................The Proto Tardis Bodyshell seems to give loads more Stability, it Jumps noticeably better & surprisingly gives slightly more Steering!

Styleone,

Buying an Atomic Carbon Tardis 22 Conversion Kit would be the best £145 you could ever Spend!

My previous Car was a CR2 & I found it Amazing! It was always really Stable & had great Rear Traction!

.......the Tardis 22 takes it another Step further, as its just as Stable, but it Handles the Bumps as if they were'nt there, Jumps way better(more like an S2) & has evenmore Rear Traction! You almost feel that you have an Advantage over everyone else by the Finals, specially on Grass Tracks that have become Low-Grip! As it seems to generate so much Grip/Traction!

I Love Driving this Car!

I have a couple of cr2 se's so can completely relate to your love of them. Sounds like JC has done it again then? increased performance, and more space for a design that Losi fell short in many areas...good to see the British engineering came to the rescue atomic just always provide such cool and enhanced solutions...

I can hear a dremel on mini spikes in the background already...so much grip its like they use gravity in the carbon!! Lol can't wait
