Question What tyres for all conditions?

Hi All,

I run a 4WD Lazer ZX5-FS on grass.

Just wondering what tyre arsenal I need on a tight budget for club racing.

I don't really have many tyres - not like the boxes of goodies I see others bringing to the track!

I have:

1
set of Ballistic buggy greens
1 very worn pair of Schumacher front yellow minispikes
1 new pair of front yellow minispikes
1 worn pair of rear yellow minispikes and
1 worn pair of rear blue minispikes

Will that do me?

I'm about to click checkout for a set of Schumacher yellow full spikes with medium schumacher inserts + wheels……is there any point? Are they good on really wet grass?

I'm no expert but if it's damp I usually run the ballistic's listed above, if dry I run the yellow minispikes.

All advice welcome.

Cheers,

Dan

Normally the only way to go is yellow minispikes in the dry and ballistic greens in the wet.

If you are on a really tight budget, have you considered blue minispikes for the dry (if they are still available). They are a harder compound than the yellows and back in the 90s were the tyres that everyone used
