Ahh bugger. My mistake...

I want it to be the same as brca so it's 13.5 open (boosted) same as rug racers

You can do masses with gearing, I have a shui Mi5 that's only running a 17.5 and the with the gearing installed was too fast for me so I ran the throttle @ 80% epa.

Ruined is the wrong word,
I not a problem running a slower car and getting beaten by a faster car if they are running to the rules,as if I do run TC again it will be 17.5 blinky as that's what me and Lee are running at the BTCC

Scott.
Lee ran 17.5 and was no slower as it's easyer to drive the infield, isn't so critical on setup, but you are open to the speed of the 13.5 up the straight.

Indeed, 17.5 is less about speed and more about ability ...

The term deja-vous comes to mind!

My F1 will be running lipos but bought a brushed esc that was advertised "lipo safe" - just one of the cheap mtronics ones you get from Modelsport.

Could it be that the Saddle Lipos were just that bit too much for it, whereas you Voltz cells have a lower capacity/c rating so didn't damage it?

I bought one of them a few years ago and it had no brakes lol,I think it was a viper,I rang and they said " you have to use reverse to slow down"
All well and good but it needed two full movements on the reverse function to activate it,by that time it was to late anyway lol

My mardave went from sub 800g to 900g with the old NiMHs...

Let's hope the extra "road hugging weight" helps

Just double checked, this is the one i've got:

http://www.modelsport.co.uk/modelspo...products/37403

According to the manual it does have brakes!
Only cost £15 from a guy on here so can't complain

15 quid is pretty good My El-Cheapo no brand ESCs are smooth and require no setup. But I am not keen on the explosions when connected to good lipos
