Is there any preference in handling between running sticks or the standard two saddles at the rear? I am planning on getting an SV2 and have both sticks and saddles but just wandering if there is any benefit in getting the stick pack conversion.

I brought the stick conversion kit but I've just gone back to the kit saddle pack/ shorty holder as I find it gives more room for the electrics and I found that it also feels more stable and balanced.

I use the shortie pack and it gives you lots of room for electrics. No issues about being underweight and gives the cougar great rear traction. This does take a bit of steering away but I like it that way. You could always add some weight to the front if needs be.

hi
I am using the Orion 5500 saddle pack 90c perfect for power and long run time for practice.

I still run the SV.
although I've never tried saddles the way I run is a shortly pack with the ESC inline with it, in between the battery and the servo. Keeps everything nicely symmetrical. With some weight added at the back near the motor the balance is really nice like this
