X6 squared dropping its nose over jumps?
Does anybody have any ideas what would cause this ? I removed quite a bit of weight from behind the servo but it still has this tendancy.

Possibly the drag brake setting is too high, this can cause the nose to drop when going over jumps and also the back end to break away when u release the throttle...hope this helps...

What pistons, oil and springs are you running on the front and back?
If the rear is too lightly damped it can bottom out on the face of the jump and that smacks the back end up. This usually happens on short, steep jump faces. |

Thanks for the responses guys. I am runnng associated green springs with no 1 pistons and 35w oil in the rear shocks. silver springs with no2 pistons and 40w oil in the front shocks

Doesn't sound too far off to be honest. Make sure not to run it too low and to give it plenty of droop at the back. Front arms should be level and the chassis level also. Rear shocks should usually be in the innermost hole on the wishbone and the one out from innermost on the tower. That usually did it for 99% of the tracks I drove on (mostly astro)

or just use a small blip on the throttle to correct it

Blipping the throttle will work but also what rear wing are you running? If its it the stock one and is a little smaller then that could be the problem but nose down over a jump is better than nose up!
Also a #1 in the rear is a bit soft, I'd run at least a #2. |
