Default Servo issues

Help!! Has anyone else had this problem...my servo, (ko rsx2) will start the race correctly centred with the end points correctly set. And then by the end of the race its centre point is off some 30 points on the sub trim on a sanwa transmitter. I have tried a different transmitter and the problem is definitely the servo. I have checked the gears and nothing is broken Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if so what is the outcome. I am running a KF with alloy everything so am wandering if the issue lies with too big an impact doing something to the servo. But everything works fine at the start of the race. Any input would be most appreciated. Thanks.

I know this may be stating the obvious. But have you looked at the servo horn, It may have striped on the spline.

That could be the problem, I once had the same issue with my ZX5 which at the time had a 3Racing alloy steering rack/servo saver fitted.

Turns out the top part of the servo saver was twisting/deforming slightly every time it was subjected to an impact but I couldn't tell trackside, the only way I knew was by holding the part up to the light and seeing the marks in the anodizing.

At the time I couldn't understand it either as I was running a fairly new Savox 1258 and it turned out I was right in thinking the neutral point wouldn't wander on a quality servo like that (very like your KO). I went back to the stock plastic steering rack, the problem went away and I ran that servo for the next 2 years
