Well you missed out!!!!! The sun came out at 10:30 and it was dry as a bone!!!!!!!

NOT, haha, it pissed it down all day, but we stuck it out and made it through. It was doubtful at times, but thanks to all for today
Many people helped sweep the water off the track today, thanks to Steve for running the meeting from the dry race control, and it was great to see some new faces
Roll on round 2, I am sure it will be dry

Glad you stuck it out. The Novarossi GP was exactly the same and at times common sense would have said "call it a day."

Anyway I plan to be there next month and lets hope its dry for everyone's sake...

I had a fun day, thanks to Steve for running it! Considering the amount of rain we had the track drained really well.

I felt for timbers though.... broke 1/4 off his car on the warm up lap for the final! i think it's time you moved on

Cheers mate.... yeh I just gave it a soaking in WD40 and its now sitting in the airing cupboard.... I was chatting to Tara on the way home, and she asked how it went.. I said "shockling s**t", pretty much summed it up.
I just wanted to give the xx4 a few more outings before it finally gets retired.
Anyway hopefully will be running the CAT at RD2, if not definately RD3. You know the CAT is the future

Also now I know who my new team mate is, I really can't wait

Anyway, good win today mate. Car looked really good.

Also take my hat of to Simon, who not only endured the rain, run two classes...

See you all at Stotfold.

Thanks to everyone for making my first race day in almost 20 years such a positive experience.

Yes, my car spent more time pirouetting in spins than a ballerina. Yes, I slipped and fell in the mud marshalling. Yes, I broke a shock rod. Yes, I cooked a reciever. Yes, I fried a GTB. Yes, I placed 3rd (of 3 racing) in the B Main.

But hey - it was fun! I was so impressed with the helpfulness of the people all around that made the day a huge success for me despite it all. Thanks!

I'm sure that a good majority of the people present assited me and my brother in one way or another, and it's appreciated. Special thanks to David, Wayne, Steve, Chris, Charles, Grant and others whose names I've missed. Cheers.

See you all next time...

PS I just brought the GTB back to life from solid red LED doom! Removed the sensor wire, turned it on (steady red light with flashing green), turned it off, put the wire back in - and presto. Nice.
