Could see that reply coming a mile off!!!

Anyway, thanks to everybody who attended yesterday and thanks for all the kind comments they are very much appreciated by ALL involved. DC - not sure if I'm ready for the MC mantle yet?

Apologies again for the pitting situation but as we explained it was due to circustances beyond our control and is equally disappointing to the grounds staff at the site, tractor drivers eh? We will obviously be pushing to get the area repaired at the very earliest possible opportunity!

Hope you all enjoyed the very special weather conditions we arranged especially! And we thought that track couldn't get more difficult than when it is just mildly moist, WRONG AGAIN!!!

And hopefully we will have some announcement to make soon about the new catering facilities Matt mentioned in an earlier posting, the club is hoping to have cafe facilities open on a Sunday, by next month! So please continue to watch this space.

Thanks again!

was an awsome fun day. liked the chocy prizes for various ideas like most comitment or best drift etc etc. well done to the club and to those who braved the weather that was a tad cold to say the least (did the track ever lose the ice????) roll on 09 for the next one

Another apology from us, the EPR website is a little crook at the moment and Alex is trying to sort it out as we 'speak'.
However, in the interim, this does obviously prevent us from updating it and also adding the current Winter Warmer 0809 2 &4WD Championship positions so I thought I'd use this opportunity to list the top 5 of each class here.....

EPR Winter Warmer 2008/09 2WD Championship (after 3 rounds of 6)

1. Nigel Buck 294 points
2. Simon Overall 284
3. Chris Brooke 282
4. Rob Wadley 267
5. Charles Wilson 264

EPR Winter Warmer 2008/09 4WD Championship (after 3 rounds of 6)

1. Kevin Lee 294 points
2. Simon Overall 282
3. Steve Andrews 271
4. Grant Williams 198 (only participated at 2 rounds to date)
5. Nathan Ralls 197 (only participated at 2 rounds to date)

Should any other drivers wish to know their Championship standings please feel free to PM or mail for a current position of a full listing.

Sunday 04 January 2009 will see us hosting Round 4 of the series and with 4 rounds out of 6 to count positions will start to take more shape.
Hope to see you all there!

And Tom Stacey has offered to be the Race Director for that meeting so both Chris AND Steve Brooke can race...

Will we see the infamous "nearly finished" X-6 or even newer Yokomo B-MAX4 break cover? I know its not a leap year but you never know!

Ah but can he MC at the same time?
And get there for 07:30 to clean the toilets?

I'm quite happy doing what I'm doing thanks! Other 'co Race Directors' around the country don't seem to be getting the same grief as I do?

And that X-6 is still nearly finshed as one of the manufacturers who shall remain nameless (for obvious reasons) doesn't appear to be able to pack their packets with what is on the header card, thanks!!!

B-MAX4 has just been sprayed!

I dont think Alex will be at the next one as he is still in Australia.

Tom was just offering his services to help out if we wanted to focus on racing. Not sure on what kind of things we could expect from him if a microphone was handed to him though. The offer was made so its up to us...

I will make sure that the toilets are sorted on the Saturday for the January meeting.

Hey Brookie, you can get there for 7.30, give the toilets a squizz then get your car ready to race while I setup race control!!

Anyway, you're not getting grief. Everyone was impressed with you MC skillz!

Dads never wrong with this. He is the south east regional rep and is very good at doing championship tables.

It will all change soon.

Ah bless! Must be getting close to Chrstmas!

And to confirm, yes Charles that is correct, has be checked and re-checked and to explain it's because you are the last listed driver to have competed in all 3 rounds we have hosted to date. As Chris has quite rightly said it will all change as more drivers complete their third and more importantly fourth rounds of the Championship, with 4 out of 6 counting.

So the following dates are the ones to note for the second half of the series:

Round 4 - Sunday 04 January 2009
Round 5 - Sunday 01 February 2009
Round 6 - Sunday 01 March 2009

Hope to see you all there!
