Default Toyota Celica TSport 190 - Detail

This is the other Celica of a guy that works with my Dad, i said i'd give it a good going over and see what i could do.

Here's how it arrived

First gave the car a covering of Snow Foam

After this i went round the car with some G101 and a brush

Car was then rinsed off

Wheels were then sprayed with Very Cherry (Acid free) and then scrubbed

Wheels then rinsed off

The whole car was then clayed, it wasn't picking up a massive amount dirt wise but there was a texture all over the car that the clay soon cleared and left a really nice smooth finish.

After claying i rinsed the whole car off, and then sprayed it with some Meguiars Last Touch to use as a drying aid

Before last touch

After a few sprays

Machine polish stage was next, so i taped up the car and got the machine ready - Started with an SFX-2 Pad and SFX-2 Polish, this was getting good results right away so i carried on around the whole car with it
Few 50/50 shots

Part2

The weather turned on me so i had to get the car into the garage, dry it off.

I decided to go with a Sealant, and see how well it stands up against the Dodo Wax i used on Paul's other Celica (Gen6) - I'm hoping it will stand up well as this is more his daily driver so will see more of the harsh conditions over the winter.

I put a layer on the whole car, and decided to buff it off using the machine with a buffing bonnet over a soft pad as i know this stuff is pretty hard going when buffing by hand.

To say i was shocked is an understatement, the gloss and depth to the colour was incredible, it literally lit up and just looked almost plastic if that makes sense? I am very impressed anyway and looking forward to hearing how long it lasts as it should be months.

Here are the pics anyway - Also please accept my apologies about the amount, i was just so impressed i couldn't stop taking photo's.....

Close up
