Default Speed camera vans

If you get caught by one of these, is it an automatic fine by post or do you get the option of attending one of those class things.

One of those bridges on the A5 $ miles after Oswestry. Probably england. Got behind a moron who one minute was doing 60 so fine, next he would slow down to 45 for no reason. I got more than a bit pissed off so just went past him but he decided to speed up as I was passing him got up to about **mph in a 60 limit big wide straight road. Looked up and saw the van on bridge too late to slow down. Hoping he got the other car not me.
Clean licence for 32 years too.

If it's northwales you may get an option to go for the speed awarness course. I hate those knobheads aswell fella !! Half the time they don't know what speed they could be doing on a national speed limit road.

most of the time its a fine/points but you may be lucky and get on a course (which you have to pay for) but depends on what the local authority does.

on another note, there is a mobile van that frequents a layby on the A38 near plymouth, there was once a local builders van that pulled in behind it blocking its view, they tried to make them move but there was nothing they could do about it.

if more people did this then maybe we would see an end to mobile speed cameras.
