Default 8/10 series booking in now open

please note when bookin in!!!
Where it says engine please type in BRUSHLESS!!!
This will get us recognised from the nitro and if we get 10 or more per round we will have our own qulifiers and Finals
Gents we all need to support this round! Fly the flag for brushless and make this a fully recognised class and maybe we will have our our BRCA national series next year!!
A big thanks to Glyn Morgan aka The Maddog for making this happen and thanks to Marvin for his rules to give us all guidelines to follow.
See you all over the summer

I have us a Series to compete in, the prestige 8/10
Now all you lot need to do is book in and race

I really wish I could do them, but every single round clashes with either 10th nats, mid west regionas or nrs 2010, which were the 3 other championships I'd chosen. Sorry guys

5min qualifiers and 10min finals.
keeping the run time low this year for the finals as we don't want to put people off, due to the price of lipo's.
All lipo rtr cars will do 10min finals even on 3200mah lipo's
We want to keep the brushless class entry level to get the numbers up.

Might have to have a look at the dates, but again, 10th nationals and regionals come first.

Good luck finding a series or club which will allow softcase lipo's.
I have worked hard with 8/10 series and the WRCA in finding the happy medium with regards to lipo's.
shouldnt that be my self & Steve M have worked hard with the WRCA regarding 1/8th lipo rules
Link to a material that would aid in the making of a 'hardcase'-

Have you inspected a so called 'hardcase'??
can you give instances/occasions when a softcase lipo has EXPLODED,IMPLODED,SENT ITS SELF TO MARS via an impact??
FACT- a soft case lipo will vent far more efficiantly than a hardcase will (very important factor)
FACT- lipo's in general have got a 'wohhh hang on back off' reputation because of users charging them incorrectly, not from impact damage.
shame you were not at the last WRCA agm you could have put your point across.
there are very good quality, tested sof case lipos on the market now, i will agree 12-18 months ago the 'cheaper' lipos were a gamble but lets take advantage of a well priced product insted of basically being ripped off big time by certain manufacturers
if we do not give soft case (with a diy hardcase) a chance this year the 1/8th brushless class will not even get off the ground....end of.
