I'm presuming we won't be using that grass verge tomorrow if it's raining? As I can just see Marshalls falling all over the place?....

I'm assuming that this won't be going ahead so when will we be making a final decision before I set off at 430 in the morning

Heavy rain is forecast all weekend.
Surely it can't be run in this kind of weather!

If it gets cancelled it's best 2 from a possible 6! I know it's no ones fault but the series will be a bit of a farce in that case

If this one gets cancelled that leaves 4 original scoring dates to go. So making it 4 core rounds. So 4 rounds means 3 to count. Even though we may run more than 4 rounds with rescheduled dates.

Rounds to count are 50% + 1.

so
4 from 6
3 from 5
3 from 4
2 from 3

Forecast for tomorrow looks OK. It will be down to if todays weather leaves the feild in a usable condition. I expect the local guys will update us on the track conditions this afternoon/evening. Only they can make the call.

Hi guys of course the banking will not be used "if" the weather is looking to be poor goes without saying really. I do suggest good foot ware just in case. My man in the area says no rain as of yet in Kendal.

I am on site from 1.30pm today right through so if there has to be a call it will be made asap this early evening by the Southlakes chair and myself. keep an eye out on the facebook page and in touch with your club rep and cross your fingers the weather men & ladies have it wrong.

Yes but that's before the rule about re arranged events applies. Every cancelled meeting can be used but are optional and aren't part of the core meetings left as not all people can make the re arranged meetings

No you apply it again onto the number of rounds now left after the rearranged round isn't counted, like how dan has put

Series was 4 from 6 to start with (50% +1)

Southport has been rearranged, so we still have 6 rounds, but according to the rule gets dropped from the base figure of scoring rounds. I.e. We still have six rounds, but the base figure is only five rounds to allow for people who may not be able to attend re-scheduled date.

So currently its a best 3 from 5, although technically there will be six meetings making it 3 from 6.

If another gets cancelled or re-arranged, abother scoring round has to be dropped from the base figure. So base figure becomes 3 from 4, even though there maybe additional re-scheduled rounds.

Sounds right to me. I really hope it isn't cancelled, this summer is turning out to be a bit of a wash out so far when it comes to my Sunday racing :-(

Well this summer has t been to bad so far... It's just been very unfortunate that almost every regional has been threatened with rain... The nationals however have been dry as a bone!!
