Default wiring...help!!

I understand where they all need to get to. But they look too close to belts and motors to be safe. I can see cables getting caught and destroyed!

Plus what the hell do I do with the on/off switch on the speed controller - there is nowhere to fix it to??

So is anyone handy with a soldering iron and fancy steering me in the right direction??

Cable ties are the answer. And you got a Cat SX because you mentioned belts and the B44 is shaft drive

Just double sided tape the switch where you would like it to be - mine sits on top of the servo in the D4.

Default almost ready...

I'm hoping to get the connections to the motor done tomorrow evening and then all I'm waiting for is the battery and charger (and the link for between the servo horn and the steering mechanism that was missing from the box)

Which battery connections would anyone recommend?

Hi Rob, yeah the car's not far off now. The charger you recommended arrived today so now all I need is the battery.

I picked up a big pack of deans connectors from JE tonight so I'm cool on them now.

I have loads of pinions from the Mid - will they be suitable for use with the Cat?

I'm on the reserve list for Jan/Feb and March!!! Maybe I'll get a race eventually! I'll be aiming to get down to Roundabout in the meantime or is you guys are going somewhere else I'll consider that too. I suppose I getter get registered for the outdoor races, I'll PM the race controller

I suspect that your Mid takes 0.6 modules pinions in which case no the Cat needs something different. The Cat will be 48dp which looks kinda similar but isn't! If I'm right don't get them mixed up!

What motor do you have?
