Savox 1251 low profile servo install not turning the same
Guys,
I've installed the above server in my 22 2.0 and it turns more one way than the other, i've left the shims out as it's say 0mm for savox, not sure it's that relevant or not. Any ideas? |

try lengthening the arm between the servo arm and the steering slider. a few mm longer should do it.
also, can you adjust end points / travel on your transmitter? make sure they arent set incorrectly. |

Lengthen the rack link until the servo horn is vertical at neutral steering

I don't recommend that servo at all for buggy. Order some spare gears..

In my experience you need to shim the servo forward or back so that the steering link from servo horn to steering rack/bellcranks is parallel with the rack when looked at from above.
I also found that I needed to get the servo horn facing somewhere between 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock and then adjust the steering link length so that everything is pointing forward. I also found that Savox servo's were harder to setup with, no idea why, but the end points on the transmitter were always set more different left to right when compared with a KO or futaba servo.
