Default HELP - K2 Rear Drive Shafts & Stuff

IMG_6850.JPG

IMG_6851.JPG

Hi All

30 years since I have raced and have just bought a second hand K2 which looks in good condition but I am stripping down, checking parts and the build construction. Attached are two images on the left and right rear drive shaft, can anyones tell me why the pin is shorter in one of them, its not worn or broken, the only thing I can thing of is its a manufacturing fault? Thoughts please guys and girls would be appreciated,

The top picture looks like a manufacturing issue not spotted by the previous owner to me.

Cheers, that was my thinking, just checking that there was no reason that I was not aware of.

Could be as it's used the seller has changed the pins in the drive shafts.
I regularly change mine as they wear

Thank you, I had no idea you could change the pins, maybe replaced with the wrong size then I guess.

Thank You
