Thanks to everyone for a great day. The massive turnout didn't phase the club, I have absolutely no idea how they squeezed in 4 rounds of heats. Fantastic close racing, the weather certainly didn't put anyone off. Can't wait until next week!

We had quite a few new (to Southport) drivers this week, which tended to delay the race start as their details had to be entered into the system for the first time.

However, as per Felix's comments, we still managed to squeeze in 4 qualifying rounds and a final. We were out of the hall just on time, but a little more help from some of the regular drivers would even the burden on the few who both build and help clear the track.
