Default Any Build tips for the KF

As Above

Any build tips

ie shock oil ,diff oil , before the jokes start yes i no i need both .

any setup help !

Mine is 35 in the front and 27.5 in the rear. Everything else as per the book!

400 front and 350 in the rear, drill the rear pistons out to 1.65mm

To be fair kit setup in the dry will be good, in the wet though will be a different matter however.

Put 70 in the front and 5 in the rear and have the diff filled with sand... That should keep the kf' hords away from the losi boys.

Got my KF yesterday(birthday gift) ,started the build and found out half the gear diff was missing out of the box (not a happy bunny )
i have been told i will get the other half in the post tommorow .

before i paint the body shell can someone tell me

Are the body shell window stickers pre cut ,as all i have is one plain sheet in the box with no pre cut shapes ?

Yes they are pre cut. Your not having much luck with it are you. Perhaps it's a Friday afternoon car ;-)

It been a pain is the ass
just to top it off i installed a new motor & ESC from hobbyking
and that went up in smoke as soon as i turned it on (no it was not my soldering before i get any comments)
Do you think someone is trying to tell me somthing !!!!

Thanks for all your support NOT
My soldering and wireing were fine (i have been an electronics engineer for 20 years )

It was connected via a deans connector on the ESC & the battery

So i did not plug it in wrong

No but you were stupid enough to use an esc from hobbyking only thing they sell that's any good is the batteries and they aren't even brca legal! Anyway morale of said story buy cheap buy twice

It was only the motor from hobbyking .The Esc that went up in smoke was a Novak GTB.
But yes you are right james the batterys are the only good thing they sell

I take it everyone in running cut bladders(emulsion shocks )
as i built mine with the bladders in and they were rock hard
If i get this problem sorted i can come out to play Thursday
