Smile my durango

i have done many rc bodies over the years so here is my latest a 210 using the cab foward dimec version on the standard chassis i decided on the theme after watching a discovery programme on the fear of extinction of the tiger, i hand painted the tiger coat and used cans for the overspray of the colours using transparent red orange and white, this is going to be my racing colourscheme from now on. the othe is my brothers i will post some shots of that later, hope you like them

Default more 210's

here are more shots of another body i did for my brother, i decided on a carbon fiber theme as his last car was that way but i introduced a flash of dayglow red to set it off. sometimes a dark colour used with a hint of dayglow can be very effective rather than a lot, the base for the body was lame flake-tamiya about 3 light sprays, this stuff is expensive and you dont need a lot to get the effect so go easy if you ever use it. i hand masked the parts for the dayglow and changed the shape of the windows and hand painted the pop rivet edges and tinted them with transparent red which i also did on my own car.then i hand cut carbon fiber vinyl for the main body areas available on ebay and finished off with hand cut pop rivets on the body from high quality vinyl.i then adde details like a wiper fuel tank cap mirrors, door handles , and emergency signs in vinyl also, hope you like

Oh, as an aside, a couple of those nuts on the steering assembly are fitted incorrectly. They need to be upside down so you can get a tool on them. (You can get a tool on them right way up, but it's a pain in the arris)

Hello all,

Long time reader love the info available in the durango section.

Currently running a Dex210 and a Dex410v3.

Finally got some new shells with the Durango 210 release paint scheme.

210 body is the durango foward cab and 410 is the proline bulldog.

Here a nice action pic from 1 1/2 years ago when I first got the car set up as rear motor.

And the finisher body fresh from the painter. No pics of the TD +8mm cab forward with a very similar design but wrapped
