I've had one of these in my TC02C Evo for a while, similar in spec/performance as my Savox 1258 but almost a 3rd of the price.

And recently I've put the 11kg version in another buggy,

I run one of the TS-915 servos in my Traxxas XO-1. It's a great servo, great build quality, strong and solid - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._UK_Wareh.html

and I run one of the TS-400MG servos in my Schumacher Supastox. again, great quality, pretty strong and fairly solid, and an incredible price - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...11sec_UK_.html

None. Yes, I am sure all these work OK, but the best servos cost money. Futaba, KO and JR servos are fast, accurate, reliable and will last many, many years. As many of us have learnt the hard way, you get what you pay for. HTH

To be fair, he did ask which servos are fast & don't break the bank. The suggested servos do both.

Hobbyking now have the goteck servos that I think are feetech rebadge.

I've been using the feetech 15kg 07sec in both 8th and 10th for nearly 6 months. I'm even testing their LP in a 4wd with no servo saver with good results.

I'm happy with them but would like a different case tho a sticker helps.

Agreed; I was pointing out that fast and cheap means they don't usually last, and many don't perform the real function of a steering servo - accurate.

With apologies to Keith Bontrager, servos can be selected by picking from fast, accurate, cheap. You can only pick two...

I've been running this servo in my 2WD offroad since last April: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...g_0_06Sec.html

It was the fastest cheap one I could find. 0.06sec. Doesnt have the greatest torque but I find it fine in my 2WD. Like I said, I've been running it since April, 2 meetings a month minimum, probably about 3-4 in the summer months. No issues.

If/when it breaks, I'll probably buy another one.

Savox low profile or hobby king goteck low profile looks ok

I have savox and yes the £100 plus servos are better but if u brake savox servos they are cheap to repair the top of the range are not and easier to keep a spare servo at these prices

i've been using Turnigy (1256 and 1258) servos in my 1/8th and Short course for the last season... the name suggest they're rebranded Savoxes... anyone know more about this ?

EDIT ; the 1258tg is a rebranded Power HD servo http://www.rcparts.eu/power-hd-8312t...10sec-57g.html

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...5kg_08sec.html

they've worked fine so far...

this video comparing the two is interesting, but doesn't explore two major concerns ; precision and reliability. turnigy does well...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EENv4ZMVpzA

i still use Savox 1257's for more "serious" (no pun intended) racing ; 1/10th and 1/12th
