Default GP 21&22 January

On behalf of SRCC we look forward to seeing you for The GP at the Ian Robinson Sports Hall, Merchant Taylors School, L23 0QP on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd January.

Can I respectfully remind everybody we can't enter the Sports Hall before 9am on both days. As usual we're asking for as many people as possible to help put out the track on Saturday and put the track away on Sunday.
We can leave our equipment there in the Sports Hall on Saturday night. Please make sure all power and batteries are disconnected. All equipment left in the Sports Hall is left at your own risk and liability.

On Saturday we need to be away at 5pm.
On Sunday we need to be away at 4pm.

Although the GP is two days racing, with prizes and raffle. You can still race for one day if you choose. A few spaces are still available by booking online at the SRCC website through Eric as usual.

Can I respectfully ask & remind everybody:

* You must be a member of the BRCA in order to race with us.
* Don't enter the Sports Hall before 9am.
* Cars must be parked in Parking Bays, do not block access for Emergency Vehicles.
* Control Rear Tyres. Block Tyres only must be used on the rear driven wheels.
* Shock Protectors must be used on the front tower of RC Cars.
* Inside the Sports Hall, Keep Fire Exit Clear, min 8 ft clearance when pitting.
* Pitting, put your chairs on the carpet & tables on the floor.
* RC batteries must be charged in a suitable bag or container.
* All 12 volt batteries must be kept in a suitable container and not placed on the floor or carpet.
* The Sports Hall and School Grounds are a no smoking area.

VERY IMPORTANT:
If you bring younger children with you, you are responsible for them and they must be supervised at all times. We rent the Sports Hall only, children are not allowed to play in the corridor and upper floor.

Thanks for your help & assistance.

Saturday track build followed by free practice then as many qualifying rounds as we can fit in.
Sunday practice followed by further 2 rounds qualifying (time permitting) then 3 finals for all.
Emphasis is on a relaxed and fun weekend
