Default Whitcliffe... Work party.. Saturday 6 December

There will be a work party at Whitcliffe. from 11am on Sat 6 Dec. to sort out the container and have a look at any necessary repairs to jumps etc. prior to, hopefully, belatedly starting the indoor season with a Xmas meeting on 28 Dec.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I'm in Alan ... Maybe we could try and empty most of the stuff out and get rid of what is no longer used/needed, make more room in the container, as I noticed there was quite a lot of matts and stuff not used, and could prob make more hanging space for track marking, could also sort out making a few new ramps and jumps? Maybe if anyone knows of a place or works at a place where they have the light weight plastic pallets, they could try asking for a cpl just to prob make the table too higher or something

Let's pull together and get things done people, see u there ... Wrap up warm

I guess a bit of an audit to figure out what track markers are scrap, and how much new stuff we need to buy or retrieve from Chadderton container?

The metal hose ends need cutting off.

A few new wood jumps or shaped humps would be nice.

Some good ideas there, Danny and Neal.....let's see what we can do..
Not sure how popular we would be, bringing stuff from Chadderton though..

Think a general audit is a good idea.
From memory: we need to repair the large trolley (I have acquired another one which is similar but shorter, ideal as a donor for wheels etc )
The trolleys for the carpets need some proper bases cutting and fixing in. We also need some new ratchet straps to form the sides of these.
A couple of the jumps need re-screwing and a general look at
A couple of the wooden jumps need painting as they are the same colour as the hall floor and are difficult to judge.
We need some HI Vis type Duct tape as the Silver stuff is almost the same colour as the carpet, so once again hard to pick out where the track is taped down.
Plenty of the white plastic markers need ends cutting off and tidying up.

I'm sure there is more than that to go at.......

any chance of drying out the mats. It is the only reason they are ridiculously heavy.

Sorry I couldn't make it today, but just wanted to say a big thank you to all those who did and meant that the winter season can start afresh.

Hope to see you all soon
