Default Generators

What would people suggest is the best value generator that the club could buy to run our computer system for outdoor racing?

Budget is tight so sensible ideas/links to sites appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Default generator

Scott,

My wife found a 800w petrol 2stroke generator for under £60.
If you want details let me know.

Regards,

Jason Baulk

800w is tiny, you'll not run a kettle on that, i think prcc run a 2kw generator.

Dont quote me, but i think you will need some thing like this, its an inverter genie, you may suffer from power spikes from a normal little genie.

I may be wrong though.....

Andy,

She got it from eBay somewhere!!! And as to boil a kettle, we use a low watt kettle in our caravan and it seems to power that just fine.
Can find out where and what if you need, it is a recon unit and there were a few available. I don't see why there shouldn't still be some as it looked like that was their regular line of business.

Speak to me one Friday evening.

Jason
