Default Mta4 Conversion time

I got hold of an mta4 a while back when model zone was closing down never ran a nitro before and after fiddling around with it for a bit I never want to run one again!!!

I quite like the chassis and was looking into converting it over to electric but totally don't know how to go about this!!!!

Been googling for a little bit but nothing of any help their

Just looking for a bit of advice on where to start really what parts need to go and what needs to go in its place

I'm thinking I need the obvious motor esc combo and battery of course but its the mounting of the thing and the type I need for it

Cheers in advance for any help even if its don't bother its a stupid Idea!!!

Hi there, I converted my mgt/mta to electric, having run it in its original guise since '04. Did you have the .28 version? I ask.as these weren't exactly Thunder Tivers finest hour, alas, I digress.

I made my own parts and improved on it as my experience grew. I have since converted my LST2.

I have since shelved the mgt since the esc let go and consequently made the lipo, the 6s lipo go pop too.

If you utube for my "21ccFilms" channel, I have 3 short vids on there for you to have a nosey at.

Ace cheers I will check them out later at home my works computer has a block on YouTube!!!

I do have the .28 version I'm guessing from what you said this is probably a bad thing? I have also heard that the gear box in this version isn't the best for taking brushless power!!!
