Default carbon fibre steering plate.

hi,

is there a carbon fibre steering plate option on the market for the 410, im assuming no, so would you buy one if there was?

I really can't see any advantage that it will deliver. Plus the Alu one looks nice and blingy.

depending on the grade of CF, and hows its cut, that sort of abuse could snap a CF part...... least the aluminium is still useable. Ish!

Maybe try a piece of Ti.

I'd have thought there'd be too much flex in a cf one. Never heard of an alu one breaking and too much bling just spoils a car

Predators used to have steering links in c/f. They went to alloy as the admiteddly thin c/f ones broke far to easily.

The cat sx runs one, and when i had one I had no issues with snapping nor ball ends popping off,

Definitely the R steel peice rather than the full fat machined item with the three, rather than two, Ackerman ball-stud holes.
