Right, where's the popcorn/crisps/whatever snack?! (I preordered what I've been told about a while ago without having to put in a deposit...)

MB models are showing 2 versions of the YZ4
a "limited" and a "standard"
Based on old info. Passed to dealers a couple of weeks ago.

However, there may be a "limited" edition (worlds or factory) though. I will know more after the weekend. And probably MB as well.

@mes, i also placed a order without deposit and some more people as well

Not necessarily by a dealer, and rather months than weeks, but yes, old info.
TBH, I would also have gotten the basic version and bought what I thought to be necessary, but the prospect of a better value factory kit is always nice. When the B-Max4 was introduced and won the EC with Neil Cragg on the sticks I was on the brink of buying a MR4-BX, not least due to Jimmy's review. I am excited to see a belt-drive Yokomo buggy again after so many years, so I don't care too much about a few quid more or less. Bring it on!

Funny enough, I did buy my MR-4BX on the strength of Jimmy's review one day I'll get round to giving it a full rebuild.

So the 2015 worlds is in the books. Although no YZ-4 made it onto the podium I'd say seven cars in the top twenty is not too bad. Great job by Cockers to take an overall 6th.

No and yes. This is a special version by Yokomo Europe. The standard YZ-4 does have plastic towers (also included in the Europe version). However, this will not be sold by Yokomo Europe! Probably CML does sell the standard version. As MB is a reseller of Yokomo Europe, they will sell the Europe version. Most shops in Europe are resellers of YE. So they will carry that car.

Looks like you will be getting the drill out. Don't the plastic towers have 4 holes? Pretty sure the cars that the Yokomo team used at EOS and the Worlds had like 4-5 holes for shock mounting in the carbon fibre towers also.

Not unlike the team-c cars then Allan, but better ;-)

If I am not confused the shock towers on the teamyokomo.eu pic are the B-Max4III towers and only shown as an example. Most probably the production cf shock towers are identical to the ones seen on the worlds/eos cars.

That sounds like a DOGMILK advert for men of men!

This phrase needs putting on an oOple sticker:

No is grumpiness while having the performance of the world's highest peak

Effing fantastic!
