Hi,

Gearing will greatly depend on the size of the track and also the motor/speedo your using.

Sounds a little crazy but its quite true. I think your best bet is to ask what a few of the guys are running at your local club and test to see how it feels for your setup.

If you add a few more details like motor and speedo then fingers crossed someone on here might have some good info for you. I race indoor and use 13.5 boosted but if it was me I'd probably start out with around 6.5 (no boost) and test to see how it is from there and alter as appropriate.

best of luck

Sorry my short post.

For race, we only run at 17.5 and no timing / boost. (Beginner Class) So everything depends on gaering.
I will run at a speed passion motor MMM V3 motor.
(Have read of it would be good without timing.)

ESC I do not know quite yet what I want. But it has probably not so important when I do not use timing.

Here are a few pictures of the track I run on.

Wow that looks like it would be great place to race, please tell me that its somewhere close lol.

I wouldnt like to guess based on how big the track looks but I'm sure if you ask a couple of the guys at the track they would give you some help on the gearing side of things and then alter as to how it feels on the track for you.

Best of luck
Graham
