9.5 gearing

hey guys,
i´ve bought a used car and i have no idea wich gearing to use.
I got the 81 and the 87 potion gear ( is that tha right word ??)
i want to drive a 9.5t motor from GM.
Du you have any experiences ??

Pleas help me out !!
