Hi,

If you can use the JC3348 wheels on the car, then any of the 12mm AE compatible buggy wheels should fit and keep the car legal.

(I've a set of the JC3348 available if you can't find any locally.

The further the axle is behind the steering pin through the caster block the more trail you have. The standard set up has the least trail, if you turn the axle 180 degrees you'll create more trail. Use a set of callipers to measure the standard setting and the flip the axle to measure that. Measure from the centre pin in the caster block to the centre of the axle. Make sure the steering is centred.

Guinness,

Since running the 211 I've ran the AE #9603 pads without any issue. I run with the slipper very slightly loose and even in 7 minute finals, it's the same feeling throughout the run

Default Avid slipper

You need a different shaft to fit the Avid Slipper to the Tamiya gearbox. It will not fit the standard shaft...... But as moggers stated I fitted Associated pads to all my TRF 2wd buggies with no issues and very consistent throughout the run. I fitted the yellow/orange coloured pads.
