b6 nose down

Hi guys
I run a B6 on a very flat and grippy astro surface with big jumps.

My B6 is flying dramaticaly nose down. I am obliged to accelerate at maximum in the air to flatten the car. Sometimes it is not suficient and it lands verticaly

Any idea to improve that ?
My set-up:
Little drag brake
Front shocks: Red springs, 45 Losi oil, standart pistons
Rear: Blue springs 37.5 Losi oil, standart pistons
Ride high 18-19 mm

I would say take the Drag brake off completely

plus it's an easy thing to try. No need to fart about with weights. When a 2wd car is in the air it doesn't take much braking to get the front end pointing downwards.

I already removed the front weights, lets says 15-18gr, with very few improvement.
I will try with no drag brake. Thanks to both.

Also consider your rear shock package. Sounds a little too stiff, not familiar with Losi oils, but 37.5wt on the rear sounds thick, combined with stiff spring (blue) could be kicking up the back end over the ramp pitching the nose down....
Ideally need to see the car in action to advise better, but that's a thought. Most b6s that I've seen jump well and a look nicely adjustable in the air.

What surface do you run to go with 37.5 rear oil, most run about 32.5 max

I run a very flat surface of concrete (old tennis terrain) covered with very high grip astro.
and we have big wooden double jumps (covered with astro also)
At this rates Losi wt oils nearly equal to Asso.

We run very low cars (18mm)

That's not actually that low, we run that on bumpy astro, if it was flat id be running more like 16-17mm.

As above, too much drag brake will dip the nose, I run about 8% on my 2WD. Other stuff such as angle of your shocks and anti squat plays into how your car jumps also.

Hi,

Sounds like the rear oil springs are too heavy. Looking at the conversion chart.

Losi 37.5 oil to equivalent to AE 35.

I'm running on indoor astro, astro is laid on concert floor, with wood jumps.
Rear I'm running 30 ae oil (32.5 losi oil) 1.7 piston and 2.1lb spring.
I have no problems with jumps, running 17mm ride height.
