Hi All,

Right - the list is now closed!

It stands at:

Me - 1 (possibly 2 as I'm sure I'll find a way to break one!)
DCM - 1 (possibly 2)
General Accident - 2
Dimblum - 1
Eddie168 - 1
robbo145 - 1
A.J. Gee - 1
Linger - 2
simoncook - 1
gargadud - 1
e-JP - 1
MJX - 1

PMs going out later today with my PayPal details on. I want 50% of the total which is £7.50. The remaining £7.50 to follow, plus postage (at cost, so will be different for most of you) when I receive the posts (which I will announce on here!).

Ian

Default Confusion avoidance!

Hi All,

To avoid confusion - to send as a gift in PayPal you need to go to the "send money" page, then click the "personal" tab. Gift is in there, not under purchases.

Yuss, done it my friend. You should have £15 from me for my deposit for 2 towers, although judging by my driving last week perhaps I should have ordered 5 .

It seems that not all the different country versions of PayPal have the "gift" option

My UK screen looks like the attachment.

If you are outside of the UK PayPal is taking the following charges: £0.49 for £7.50 and £0.79 for £15. Can I request you add this to your payment please.

Also, in your checkout notes can you put in what your oOple name is. Some already have and it is making my life a lot easier

Cheers,

Ian

A question of critical importance....will Atomic Carbon throw in a sticker or two with each tower?

I just wanted to say that i hope these carbon towers are a lot stronger than the 3racing brand towers. I had a front and a rear crumble on me already and im hoping that wont happen again. lol. With the new shock tower, will i be able to run the rear universal shafts?

I don't have an option for a "personal" tab and I couldn't find a way to send money as a gift?? If you like I can send additional money to cover the paypal fees...

I'm not sure how else to send it..

Dan,

If you are outside the UK you'll have to add charges to the payment I'm afraid - post #45 tells it all!

AJ,

They are bullet proof mate! I had mine doing 'end over ends' the other week and nothing happened at all. Of course if you do go upside down at about 50MPH into a curb it may be a different matter........

As for universal shafts, I've been running them since I built the car. With the standard tower and the prototype AC one too. No worries there either.

Hi All,

Just to let you know I've received deposit payment from:

General Accident
MJX
Robbo145
e-JP
gargadud
linger
simoncook
dimblum

Just waiting for the others to pay the deposit and then the order will be sent

Steve, give me the cash when I see you next - not at COBRA Sunday as I'm busy doing other stuff. Do you want 1 or 2?

Ian

Hi,

Just wondered if everyone has followed through with their "pledges" yet?

What sort of timescale will AC work to once the order is placed Ian?

Ta.

Not yet, one left to go but I don't want to go publicly naming just yet. I have sent them a PM reminding them of their commitment.

Being perfectly honest I'm not too sure. Jonathan had the prototype to me in under a week from agreeing the design so I would imagine early in the new year what with Christmas getting in the way!

I'm also sorry for not being active on the board and keeping updates going but I have been absolutely snowed under at work and the last thing I've been wanting to do is fire up the home PC for a a couple of weeks.

Right then - my last post about payments and the PM I sent wasn't a big enough hint for one of them:

A.J. Gee

Can you please pay your deposit, you are holding up the order process.

If I don't have a the deposit sent by 09:00 Monday 22nd December you will be off of the order, someone else has already expressed a wish to have your tower.

Over to you mate..............

No reply or funds from AJ, sorry mate but I gave you enough chances (time, PM and post). I'm going to have to drop you from the list.

List going to Jonathan today.

I'll get the towers in sometime around mid Jan and I'll drop you all a PM or update the thread (or possibly both!) requesting the remainder of the funds and postage address (if it isn't on PayPal).

Merry Christmas all.

Ian
