Cool B44's last outing this Sunday

Hi all,

This Sunday marks my last event with the Team Associated B44, aahhhhhh This morning, the credit card got more abuse than a mute alter boy and a new 4wd was purchased...... It'll debut in a few weeks

I'm going to rebuild the B44 next week and put it up for sale with a load of essential spares and a brand new unpainted body and wing - probably priced around the 120 euro mark - I may take a Losi 2wd or 4wd or spares for in part exchange - try me!

Hi Will,
What 4wd are you planning on racing next year? Are you going to sell your saddle lipos?
Regards,
Alan

Time will tell Alan - the new car takes saddles though, so I've no cells for sale.

Hi Will,
No prob. I've been looking at the Caster 1/10th 4wd and considering trying it. I have the RTR Caster 1/8th ZX1R nitro and have been impressed with the quality of the kit.

What motors are ye running for 2wd and 4wd indoors?
What tyres are ye running for 2wd and 4wd indoors?

What motors and tyres do you run for 4wd on track in Lucan?
Regards,
Alan

I'm running a 10.5t in the 2wd / starting off with a 8.5t in the 4wd

What tyres are ye running for 2wd and 4wd indoors?

Indoors on carpet 2wd mini-pins or stagger ribs on the front, mini-pins on the rear. 4wd min-pins all around.

Mini-spikes, same as outdoor work ok indoors as well, maybe not as quick as pins, but make the car easier to drive.

What motors and tyres do you run for 4wd on track in Lucan?

Lucan in 2wd 8.5t with mini-spikes yellow in the dry, greens in the damps, when really wet ballistic spikes on the back

4wd 6.5t motor with tyres same as 2wd.

MiCk B. :-)

Hi Alan,

Mick answered most of your questions - but you really should aim at a car that is race proven - Losi, Associated, Schumacher, Kyosho, Durango.
Out of that list, only Kyosho are hard to get spares for - but there will be tons of them running in the Uk next year, so maybe that will improve.

Will

Postman walked into the office this morning to collect the B44 that I sold on oople yesterday. I hand him box. He hands me box....? XX4 arrived

So the moral of the story..... Brian is going to be delighted with his new XX4, which he doesn't know he's bought yet

I'll just take the Money Will. I think I paid €900 for that car if my memory serves me correct

In all seriousness my bro in law's kid is looking to start racing. I am urging him to buy a B4 RTR. Would people have a set of cells they don't use they could sell for cheap. Usual lipo stick cells, don't need to be amazing just working order.

Thanks,

Cant make it tonight or Sunday (going to top gear).

Can't believe you held it and it didnt disintegrate into one pile of grey/black dust. The tabletop will soon sort that out though
