open gate
Hi guys
My first post on here, and a newbie to rc cars i live in clifton which is not so far from the track, so i visited today in the hope to see some cars in action, there was nobody there and the gate to the rostrum was unlocked is this normal? And, can anyone just take a car on there to have a bash? obviously providing there is no race on i'm guessing Anyway, it looks a good track, but then it is the first i have seen in the flesh. When are the best times to visit the track to see the cars racing etc? Would my losi mini 8ight be ok on there? Thanks anyway guys Mark |

Hi Mark.
I am in the committee at Bury's race track. The rostrum should have been locked. Someone/member has left it open. We keep the gate locked but when people join the club they have access to the code to unlock the gate but should lock the gate on leaving. If you want to come to a meeting to see how we race their is a race meeting next Sunday which is part off our summer series. If the weather is like today their should be a good turn out. If you need to know any details for club membership on the day you can talk to the race controller or another committee member. Racing starts at around 10 - 10.30am. Hope this helps.

Hi mark
We race 10th and both classes 2wd and 4wd. Xb4s,k1s,bmaxs 4wd go well at bury as these seem to be the most common. Try and pick something that people are already racing as you will get loads of help with set up tips. Tyre choices are dependent on the weather conditions
