These do look very nice....coming from 1/8 then alloy chassis, proper CVD driveshafts and gear diffs are more my bag! Why the front hex but a rear pin for drive? Why not the same for both??
Also, do these take saddle packs?

notice no roll bars - are these critical on the "premium" DEX410 and so a 'must buy' on the R?

No shock, outdrive, or cvd boots, but that's an easy upgrade.
Alu towers might bend, but might not break as easily. Still, an easy upgrade.
I want the 2mm pin shafts/cvd's, plastic braces, and 25mm battery strap for my 410.
They did a great job with the 410R! But, what else is new?!! TD Rocks!

Not used mine yet, so I wouldn't say they are a must buy, but then different tracks, different drivers, might be a different story.

As far as I know, the spur/slipper sit higher on the 'R'. So I would think that the centre mount is a touch higher so would have to be purchased to fit the deeper LiPo's.

I could be wrong though, so don't take my word for it.
