Default Ledbury Summer Series

Hi Guys we've got some 10th only dates up for the Ledbury summer series, additional to this buggies will still be run on club days.

1/10 Only Series - Electric 2wd /4wd + Trucks
24 May 1/10 Series (Sat of Bank Holiday)
08 Jun 1/10 Series
07 sept 1/10 Series
21 Sept 1/10 Series

Please get your entries in ASAP with Doug ; contact@ledburymcc.com
as I have a feeling places will fill up fast.
These days have been done to hopefully not conflict with any regional or national, if they do - let us know.
I've had to post this here as I couldn't post it in the events organiser.
If any mods want to move it please do!
Cheers
Gordy

Is this gonna be on the same patch of grass as the Regional was run?

I did hear yesterday that it was on the same patch of grass as the 4wd regional event last month.

Yes it is on the same patch of ground as the regional. Doug has decided not to have a limit on numbers, Thursday would be the last day for booking in online. But to be honest even if you turned up on the morning we'd fit you in somewhere!
I did hear a couple of people at the regional say the track was too bumpy, just wondered what peoples honest opinion was?
If we don't know we can't fix it. We didn't want it too smooth as we felt it then became glorified touring, but on the other hand we didn't want it too bumpy - so let us know.

Really liked the track.
Only improvement would be to turn the double jump after the slab section into a table top or a better type of jump than what is already there. Bomb hole is ace.

yea I agree with you, those jumps were a git - the reason they were so slow, was we were trying to slow the lap times down, as we were concerned the lap times would be too quick. But they have settled quite well and to be fair Roger Mills was clearing them consistantly last Wednesday night. But yes in the long term I think it needs to be turned into a table top.

Not sure to be honest. Depends on the weather really, plus i think i have a party to go to on Saturday night down that neck of the woods so may kill two birds with one stone.

If it's raining it'll be good practice for Talywain, you know it's gonna rain when the Nationals come to Wales
