Oh poop....totally forgot about that one! Ummm....not at the moment, as I suspect we've dropped the proverbial on it up to now...most likely because the micro national wasn't long ago, and we're taking it easy after that 'little' effort.

Leave it with us a moment and we'll see...in the meantime let us know if your interested...then if interest is there at this late notice and if we can book the rest of the day (also at this late notice!) we will.

Might I make a suggestion though, we run a slightly shorter version of it than last year...seem to remember it being a very very long day last time...lets go a little easier this time round maybe?

So Pete can't get there early, but I could in theory...not seen huge amounts of interest on here for it though to see if it's worth the effort.

Currently I'd be up for starting a couple of hours earlier...say getting there for about 3-4pm, should give us time for a couple of extra finals...so normal club night with 3 leg finals basically.

Thoughts?

I probably won't be there until 7. Am I still good to join a heat at that time?

If we do start early...which is looking likely...we'll start racing at about 5:30ish, basically early enough to run 2 extra finals making it the usual 3 qualifiers but then 3 leg finals instead of a single one.

Anyone can join in at any point, so if your not there at the start it's no problem, you'll be booked in when you arrive and join at the next round

Just waiting to hear if we can get in the hall a bit earlier now.

This will be my first time at caldicot so I am really looking forward to it, I will get there for the earliest time possible, I'd do all day if it was allowed, so I am definitely up for an earlier start

Right we have the go ahead...Doors at 4:30pm, first race on the line at 5:30pm!

Format is:

Open Practice as soon as track is built.
3 rounds of qualifying
3 leg finals for all

Finished, CLEANED UP and doors locked by 11:30pm

In light of recent events I am getting the keys and having a check around the hall before I want anyone else there! See you all at 4:30pm, not before please

P.S. Matthew...funnily enough I thought the same as you until last year...so we did run ALL dayand the evening! By about 6pm we were all totally shattered...the last few runs were REALLY hard work! Sad but true

Great good-friday night. 7 Rounds plus Finals. Big thanks to the people that stayed behind to help pack away. It makes packing away a lot quicker.

I just want to say a big thank you to every one that organised this event it was a great night really enjoyed it. I also want to thank dean Morgan and every one else that helped me out with set ups (sorry not the best with names but you know who you are) made my car so much easier to drive and made it a much better night for me
On another note, on your first visits are they supposed to be free or is the website not up to date...
Thanks again for a great night

hi matt, didn't you show a current BRCA card? Thats why I charged you mate. The free night and 3 meetings before you have to join the BRCA only applies to people who are new to racing.
